McArdle's Disease is a condition caused by an inborn deficiency of muscle phosphorylase resulting in an abnormal accumulation of glycogen in muscle tissue, characterised by exercise intolerance, muscular pain, fatigability and muscle cramping. Complications with McArdle's Disease include renal failure.
