Children’s Gender Identity Development Service

The Gender Identity Development service is a tier 4 specialist multidisciplinary mental health service which provides support and therapeutic input for children who have social and psychological difficulties with the development of their gender identity.

Outreach Support for Patients

The service provides outreach support to patients and families across the country. This network model of management for children struggling with the development of their gender identity involves close collaboration between the national service in London and local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
