Complex childhood osteogenesis imperfecta brings together surgery, pharmacology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing and social work into a hub and spoke model that aims to improve the diagnosis and symptom management of under 16s who have this rare, genetic collagen deficiency and who meet a service definition of ‘severe’ or ‘complex’.
