National Network for Burn Care

The National Network for Burn Care (NNBC) aims to improve the quality of NHS Burn Care Services in England and Wales.  The Network was originally established in 2003 as the National Burn Care Group and forms part of the NHS Specialised Services function.

The membership of the NNBC reflects the interests of all those involved in Burn Care, including the 4 regional Burn Care Networks, NHS Specialised Commissioners and patient representatives.  The Network is chaired by Jeff James, previously Chief Executive of NHS Wiltshire.

A key objective of the NNBC is to implement recommendations of the National Burn Care Review (2001).

Minutes from NNBC meetings can be accessed here.
